Pelican Procurement Services have been a client of mine since 2011 and we have a great working relationship. When the idea of creating an innovative online portal for their customers emerged I was very excited to assist. The award-winning Pi (Purchasing Intelligence) has gone from strength to strength since the initial lauch in 2013.
Below is a selection of UI elements I've created recently for the promotional, login and main dashboard sections of the Pi website. The development of Pi has been very iterative and provides plenty of scope for creating innovative interface elements.
Pi is a highly modular system, with users able to pick and choose which elements of the system they use. Below is a selection of designs created for various modules including Piranha (menu management), Pistop (stock management) and Cherry Pi (online ordering).
I love creating fun and informative animations and the various videos I've created for Pi demonstrate just some of my skills. Built in Adobe After Effects these animations always start life as a storyboard and script, before moving on to creating final artwork for approval before animation. Working in this way saves time and money for my clients and ensures what is finally produced is the same as their initial vision.
Shown below is the final video for the Piranha (menu management) module showing a thorough demo of the capabilities of the system. The system demo sections involved producing a simplified version of the module interface to better show off the features. The voiceover was provided by the very talented Gary Patterson.
Alongside several other Pi promotional videos I was asked to create the intro and 'outro' of a tutorial video series. The file was designed to be easily editable, so once the generic elements were designed and animated, the whole animation could be very quickly edited to create many different titles.
